The Well is more than just a prophetic community. It's where we all have the privilege of hearing from the Lord. We value your unique insights and would love to hear what the Father is saying.

We believe all are called to prophesy and love watching people activated in it. However, we also know that there is a maturing that happens as one grows in learning to hear the voice of the Lord for others.

The How section defines how to give a word appropriately.

Corporate:

If you see or hear something in service that you believe needs to be released publicly, please write it down on an index card. Index cards are in the back of the seats, on the communion tables, or the welcome counter in the lobby. Please be specific when filling out a card, but do not add to what the Father is saying.

Please give these cards to the sound booth attendant. Leadership will review the word and evaluate if and when to release it to the congregation.

Individual:

Begin by stating this is what you feel the Lord is saying. Do not speak for God. (ex- “I feel like the Lord is showing me” vs. “Thus says the Lord”)

Avoid declaring pregnancies/children, marriages, Five Fold callings, and big moves when prophesying to an individual. If you feel this is what the Lord is showing you, keep it to yourself to pray over or speak to leadership and allow them to weigh it before sharing it with the individual.

Remind the person that we are all still learning and to take every word to the Lord in prayer for Him to judge as well as encouraging them to share with a mentor.
